Kibum’s hot swimsuit bod helps ‘I Love Italy’ hit high ratings

A fantasy romantic comedy “I love Italy” debuted in the top of the cable networks' viewership ratings with its premiere episode aired on May 28. The drama caught lots of attention from the very beginning with its comical and speedy development of the plot.

Super Junior member Kibum briefly starred at the end of the first episode to replace the child actor who had been playing his role. Although his appearance was short, Kibum left a strong impression with his six-pack abs in a ripped swimsuit. Kibum will play a 25-year-old dauntless yet naïve “Kum Eun-dong” in “I love Italy.”

Kibum previously mentioned that he had built his muscle for the drama in only six weeks. He said it was a duty for an actor to be ready for his character and he worked out very hard barely eating anything.

1화 엔딩에서 아역 백승환이 25세 징승남 김기범으로 파격 변신으로 기대를 모았다.

특히 김기범은 짐승남 금은동으로 변신하며 수영복이 찢어진 채 식스팩 복근, 거뭇거뭇한 다리털까지 노출하며 누드 투혼을 펼쳐 팬들의 이목을 끌었다. 슈퍼주니어의 멤버 김기범의 천연덕스러운 순수남 역할에 기대를 모으며 연기자로서 입지를 단번에 굳혔다.

한편 김기범이 퍼스트푹 화보촬영에서 자신의 몸매에 대해 “6주 만에 만든 몸이예요. 거의 못 먹고 운동만 했죠. 배우라면 촬영전까지 어떻게 역할에 맞춰야 하니까요. 이제 여름도 오니 잘됐죠"라고 말한바 있다.
